Dr Fadiman says she was in a very unique position to write about her experience with microdosing. She believes that the basis of the war on drugs has always been about race. The two popular substances people talked about were lst and mushrooms, which do not know they are illegal. 'I wrote the book because i felt like i had an obligation,' Dr Fadiman said.
