Russia and China are both trying to bring back the mythic truths of their countries. In Russia, this is a matter of life and death for us russians; in china it's about greater motherChina. And we don't want that mythic truth to be run in the show, because then we end up with these triumphalist crusades. But we do want it, and you can't explain it away.
