The Benefits of Rest Days

Athletes are scared to death of rest days, but I've had other athletes that were world class, gold medal winning athletes that took a rest day every week. You can become very good and still take rest days. That's a worthwhile thing to say to regular folks because we also tend to think, oh, no, I can't rest because then I won't get better. No, actually rest is part of the recipe for getting better.
