The Muscular Benefit of Going Easy on Your Easy Days and Recovery Days

We're naturally more efficient and we're naturally smoother at faster efforts. The body likes to go fast. And if you're inefficient at slower paces, than that means there's some hidden inefficiencies at faster paces that you're just not experiencing. So running easy on your easy days, going really slow on those recovery days helps you recover in a way that will then allow you to re invest that additional energy into the faster days, the longer days. i've had a bunch of athletes come to me after really slowing down the days and be almost have their mind blown what they're able to accomplish on the faster days because of that balance.
