The Rise of Surveillance Capitalism
What we're really kind of dancing around here is this notion of surveillance capitalism. What does it mean that our primary source of truth delivered to us in the palms of our hands is funded by an optimized for their surveillance add model? So, when we look at the causes of what allows us to have the information that each of us has at hand, it's easy to put the onus on individuals. But it's mistaken the way in which a large set of corporations have been able to use technologies to better understand us where we are understood as a long list of actions.
