The first thing people notice about me is that i'm a woman, because that's what stands out at a poker table. And so they react not to me as a player, but me as a female. It was one of these aha moments for me when i realized that gender could actually be a huge asset at the poker table. People form impressions of everyone right away. I mean, it's just something that our brains do intuitively.
