In the 60s, talking to parents was definitely not something that they gave a shit about. And well, A, first to get information. We wanna get information about what they're like at school and then we wanna get information from the kid. She's been neglected, she's being ignored, and when she can't stand it anymore, she acts out. But I hear what you're saying in that, when we do see them, which could just be Wes Anderson quirkiness, they almost come off as little old men. So they're kind of just like accessories.
