Can Derride Destroy a Text?

There's a kind of deliberate iconoclasm, but also a delight in that. The otor is opening up the cope of the readings you can do on a text. And i think he does that very successfully. He opens up a whole new raft of readings. But you can't get away with everything. A chair can be deconstructed. It's a construct or thing can be dicinstructed. There is no philosopher or scientist who can prove that it's not a chair. So it strikes me there's something quite playful about all this. And you might even think it's a bit like realism or data.
