Amlo's Domestic Policy Approach to the Drug War

The Mexican military has acquired an economic profile as well under Amlo. The National Guard was supposed to be the spearhead to hit at these different drug trafficking organizations. But ironically, that force has been used more against Central American and Caribbean refugees and migrants who have tried to go through Mexico than they've been used or deployed against drug trafficking Organizations. There's 110,000 Mexicans who have been disappeared since 2006.
