In the pain dominant stage, we start doing some loading. We do a lot of open chain hip abduction strengthening and hip extension strengthening. I think like the bridging type exercises work well or hip thrusters if you're a patient can tolerate them. The way you kind of know when you're ready to kind of progress into this kind of more of a low dominant stage is when that patient wakes up and they can go down stairs without pain.
