Why Chat GPT Lacks a Symbolic Reasoning Ability
On what basis can we say that chat GPT lacks such a representation? That has always been to me somewhat a difficult question to wrap my mind around. On the other hand, it does seem like an open question that there are other ways of getting to symbolic type reasoning. So why isn't symbolic reasoning? I give it two reasons. First of all, we didn't design it to the symbolic reasoning.
