Students are going to vote with their feet if there's someone who's just going to lecture at them and the students have an option they won't show up anymore. Some people say oh kids these days have a less of an attention span but i think it's more that they have more options and they have higher expectations when we were kids. Kids are actually able to advocate for themselves a lot better because they're not willing to just put up with only one modality hey given you know everything is is a double-edged sword.
