Good photographs do tell stories and all the well-known street photographers say that they try to tell stories in their photos. And I think it's also a way of trusting your instinct. Sometimes an idea or a character will just come and I can't tell you at the time necessarily why they're the people I want to write about. But you have to go with instinct. Do the people you get in your photographs ever inspire characters? Not directly, but I think it all feeds in.
