The Car Showed Up Every Night Under My Neighborhood Light

My ex-boyfriend was obsessed with me and wanted to be me, so he started dating a woman ten years my senior. He tried to make me jealous by being with someone i openly hated but only managed to test my up chuck reflex. I stopped going to that club and never saw many of the friends there ever again, for fear that they would tell my x about me. A year after i'd broken up with him, a car kept appearing every night under my neighbor's street light. Any time we walked toward to sea, it would take off. No one ever left the car. We saw someone eating in it off the dash rain and snow. And finally we realized why.
