The Importance of Technological Progress

In some parts of the West, life expectancy is actually deteriorating. Just because you've got a technological change doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing. I think the question of what is progress and what is good are in large part moral judgments,. they're very subjective judgments. Very advanced technology can be used for very good purposes.
