Harry and Hermione are still going to be best friends with Ron so wouldn't killing Ron his best friend sister do the same exact thing as killing his girlfriend. There was some excellent foreshadowing this book in Professor Slughorns in one of the classroom scenes there's this potion that makes you smell like the person that you desire most. Harry mentions that he smells a flowery scent that he previously thinks that he's sniffed at the at the burrow yes and the burrow and Ginny is not over.
