The Consequences of Lockdowns in China

Lockdowns have very abruptly reduced energy consumption and thus co2 emissions. To that extent they are a kind of dress rehearsal for de-growth strategies you could say. If we are to achieve our 2050 net zero ambitions we need to reduce emissions by as much as we've reduced them in 2020 every single year going forward.
