I Will Go After My Lovers That Give Me My Bread and My Water, My Wool and My Flax, My Oil and My Drink
Jose: The woman apostatized from Christ is exactly what we see in Lehigh's dream, that she thought there was greater happiness in an imitation than in the genuine article. She said, I will go after my lovers that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink. Jose: God wants nothing more than what he knows is our greatest happiness. He says many of us come to realize it's an imitation happiness. It doesn't compare to the true happiness that God is really offering.
