The Kingdom of Heaven Is at Hand

Luke 5:16-17 is a series of miracles demonstrating who Jesus is and ultimately how he wants to heal people, societies, the world. In verse 17 says it came to pass on a certain day as he was teaching that there were Pharisees and doctors of the lost sitting by which were come out of every town of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. I like that because it reminds me to not be so quick to pass judgment on people because they might belong to a certain group or have certain characteristics.
