The Importance of Clarity in the End of the Christian Pilgrimage

The more strongly one desires an end, the more carefully and diligently one will use the means to it. The love of the end is the poise and the spring that set us every wheel a-going. We run so slowly and strive so lazily because we so little mind the prize. That's the mind of the apostle, isn't it? Forgetting what lies behind, straining forward to lies ahead.
