Is There a Godlike Perspective on the World?
In the book, Am argues that there is no need for laws of nature or anything like that. But at the same time he says we have a godlike perspective on the world and can take it in different ways. The question of how people reason has to do with empirical psychology rather than issues about how we ought to reason. He also sees statistics and econometrics as normative proposals about how one ought to think about causation.
