When Is It Good to Follow Conventions in UX?
When is it good to follow conventions because of usability and when is itGood to break them? So I would say it's really not about always using conventions, but whatever is actually proven to be best for the people who are using your service. And that's the great thing about user experience design versus other kinds of methodologies is that you can do a lot more testing and testing driven design.
