How Much Did You Really Know About Espionage?

I was prepared to do political intelligence. The dream was for me to befriend decision makers in foreign policy, or at least influencers. I never got any feedback as to how valuable i was to them. If i had to judge my effectiveness as a spy from the outside, i would say it was pretty much a failure. So you don't think anything you reported back made that much of a difference to anything? I believe that is correct.
