In the Netherlands at 12 is the youngest age a young person can participate in medical decision making. The arbitrary age of 12, that seems to be essentially manufactured not because of any sort of magic. If you are still cross sex identified at 12 years and one day, you're future transsexual. But if you're 11 years and three hundred and sixty four days, you know, we don't know yet, you're probably not.
