Memphis is considering leaving the TVA, its biggest customer. Sundeep Pearl says it's a dangerous path to leave public power behind. He says without Memphis, the TVA itself might not last. In December 2022, Memphis rejected the 20 year contract with the TVA and opted for a five year contract.
