Are GPUs Faster Than They Used to Be?

In the early days of bring up of these systems, like it takes the vendor forever to get them booting quickly. Like if you have to restart the whole machine, some nodes aren't going to come up. And then we're going to spend a long time getting that thing working. So having a faster machine for something like that would be would be good.
