Depave Chicago, What Would the Results Be Like?

If you were to depave chicago, what would the results be? I mean, would you see changes in the heat island effect? Would you see different species popping up? Like what happens if your goal comes to fruition? The answer would be yes and yes. There's no reason why we, as a city can't see systemic de paving as a part of climate change adaptation.
