The Demographic Dividend in India
China's population growth has declined because the fertility rate has gone much beyond the replacement rate. On the other hand, in India, the growth rate has been quite consistent for the last 10, 15 years. Half of India's population is very young, they are productive and this could be a demographic dividend if policymakers get things right.
