Menopause and Insomnia
The highest complaint that individuals with menopause have is difficulty with awakenings after they fall asleep. When you come into a sleep physicians or clinicians clinic, when you say you've got a sleep problem, that's enough. We can do a sleep study to see if there are underlying problems in sleep that might be exacerbating that issue. The one interesting thing that you can see in some sleep studies is an increase in slow way of sleep, which we often call deep sleep.
