How to Correct a Grammar Mistake

When I start to correct someone over and over again their confidence goes from here to here instead of focusing on creating their ideas. When we don't correct again I choose the times once a student has gotten comfortable for example. If you make a grammar mistake that I think hey this is something I need to help posture with because it's something I've heard him do over and over and over Again, he can be corrected why?
