Trans Skeptical: Why the Academic Track Is Off the Table

I think that this has become a taboo topic in the Academy. There's really one line of beliefs or positions that one can take publicly. And I don't just mean taking extreme, you know, positions against transgender people. Even doing basic things like questioning whether, for example, the medical community's consensus around gender affirming care is based on good, reliable evidence. Just going to say these are the types of questions that anybody should be able to raise, especially in an academic setting.
