The Four Fundamental Forces of Modern Science

Modern science recognizes four fundamental forces, gravity, electromagnetism and the strong and weak nuclear forces. People had known about magnets, you know, since ancient times, but they didn't know that electricity and magnetism are two sides of the same force,. That realization also wouldn't happen until 16 hundred, when the english scientist william gilbert coined the word electricity.
