At the peak, welie was driving a lot of traffic for people searching book titles in in spanish on poit. When we were growing and we were having all those visits, i remember i went to silico valley. One of my investors said, this is going nowhere if you don't make money. So stop growing and focus on making money. You need to turn this into a business. We started as an audiobook platform, but now 65 % of what people consume on our platform is our bik originals - which are not audio books or potcass.
