The Importance of Visual Effects in Filmmaking

At Otis, they have a sort of a senior project that you do. It's supposed to be the culmination of everything you've learned. So I partnered up with my friend who was doing her graduate thesis film. We filmed it on 35 millimeter film, got it scanned and like we had a hundred shots. And at the end of the school year, they have professionals who come in and view work.
