How to Shoot on Film at Night
Movies in particular feature films are not going to shoot on high sensitivity film because it's going to have you look really grainy. So they usually shoot at low ISO films, like 100 to maybe 400 max. A lot of digital sensors can go as high as 56,000 ISO and that will introduce a lot of digital artifacting. And when you're filming on a digital sensor, those sensors are incredibly light sensitive.
