The Importance of Film Festivals in Distribution
I had a deal out of Sundance where we had multiple offers and it kind of got whittled down to two or three offers. When we closed our deal he already knew the terms of what we took. festivals are almost like a publicity more of a party. It is free marketing as well. And they have so many films to look at you know I think they're like boy let's just instead of looking at 5,000 films let's look at the top films from the top festivals.
