The rules analyst across the board is the most overeative thing in sports broadcasting. I would be less annoyed by all the rules analysts if one of them could just come on and go, you know what? This is really hard to see what's going on here. The cops will not come, handcuff you and take you to jail if you say that. You are allowed to say that. Instead, it's third leg and the movement and this is it. That's not serving the viewer in any way, shape or form.
