The Face of God in the Old Testament

In the Old Testament, there's this word for the face of God that is really important to Old Testament theology. But in a lot of our English translations, we wind up translating it as the presence of God instead of the face ofGod. For the Hebrew mind, the Presence of God and the Face of God are inseparable.
