Sprinting feels good and your body rewards you for that sense of flight. The reason why kids do everything in full throttle is because they don't jog. There's no middle gear for a kid. And so I think it's really intriguing about Eric's approach about teaching speed is that it becomes this self perpetuating upward cycle. You sprint. You feel good. You gather your breath, your rest. You want to do it again.
