Doctor galbraith is a family therapist. He works with parents and babies because sometimes, for many different reasons, there can be a detachment between mother and child. Good eye contact allows the baby to feel that somebody is understanding them. And it also allows mum to help regulate the baby emotionally. So i con is primitive. It's innate. It's also critical to our development.
