The Relationship Between Object Imagery and Spatial Imagery
If you have a fantasia then you can't see the images but that doesn't mean that you're not capable of spatial reasoning or of manipulating structures in your mind. There are one or two associations that we haven't yet mentioned so a curious association with face recognition many people without fantasia describe difficulty in recognizing faces and actually face people who research face recognition had noticed that some of their participants seem to have rather weak imagery. Another interesting dissociation between what's called object imagery and what's called spatial imagery. People with a fantastic seem to be lacking particularly is object imagery so the ability to to imagine visually the visual characteristics of objects.
