YouTube turned off auto play features for children under 18 and they created a take a break reminder when children have had YouTube open for several hours. Facebook and TikTok made all new counts created by teens private by default. More recently, California just passed a child privacy law that's going to take effect in 2024. And it's modeled on the UK's ageappropriate design code.
