The Different Types of Dystonia

Dystonia can sometimes be the presenting symptom of Parkinson's disease, often foot dystonia. There's a specific genetic syndrome called dyt11, myoclonus dystonia that starts in childhood as well. Patients can be kind of in a variable, variably along this spectrum between myoclonuses and dystonias. Some are very mixed; some have much more dystonia than others.
