How to Find a Carny Swarm in the Wild

When a swarm leaves the nest it doesn't really fly very far. So if you know how to identify when a hive is swarmed by the way the bees are flying around the hive you've got like a short window to go find them quickly. Swarming creates a really vulnerable time in the life of the honeybee so they don't want to risk themselves for as long as you know to go 5, 10, 20 miles further away. A swarm will also starve if it doesn't move quickly because you know they don't have any honey stores and there's the real risk of the queen being lost or captured by predators during flight.
