Disabled People and Guardianship

In early america, people with intellectual as well as physical incapacities were also placed under guardianship. Age, gender and disability all our rationals for exclusion from the army and guardianship. The fact that disabled people could not work in the language of the law seemed to threaten the entire national experiment.
