The Ripper Attack - Part Two
Marilyn discharged herself from hospital ten days after her attack. She was able to provide a decent description, a row in or dark coloured, four doors with two interior review mirrors. At the crime scene where Marilyn was attacked, police located tyre tracks which they made plaster casts of. The tyre tracks were very similar to those left at Irene Richardson's murder scene. After further analysis and taking into account Marilyn's description, police reduced the list of possible cars to eight. Police actually arrested two men based on different sightings Marilyn reported. Both bore similarities to the photo fit, however they were eventually eliminated from the investigation. It was more than likely Dave wasn't the attacker's real name anyway.
