Class Is an Old Form

The desire of the market has imprinted upon us. No matter what we think we're doing politically, that's how we can act politically through those institutions. And class is an old form. I mean, we could talk about class existing as an objective thing right now, but we cannot talk about class. It's certainly in America as a live function of human identity. The new media economy sees our demographic groups and then offers up to us what it expects us to be attracted to.
