The Rejection of the Sacrifice

The practice of sacrificing to the gods is assumed before jesus, it's presupposed and its practised. Mad: What better way for god to reject the practice of sacrifice then to a basically turn a dead sacrifice into a living sacrifice? The benefit would be that we no longer have to see the gods as those who demand sacrifice.
