The Coathite Families of the Levites

The cities of the descendants of Eren, the priests, were in all 13 cities with their pasture lands. To them were given Shechem, the city of refuge for the Slayer, with its pasture lands in the hill country of Ephraim. And to the Gershenites, one of the families of the Levites was given out of the half tribe of Manasseh and Beshterah; they also had a number of other cities allotted to them as well.
