The Five Things You Need to Trust Yourself

In addition to any therapy, what you have to do when you don't trust yourself is begin to develop a trusting relationship with yourself. How? By starting to trust yourself. When we don't trust ourselves, we overthink everything and we lament what we did wrong. We use it as proof of why we're broken, why we're terrible. So this is the tool. Remind yourself of the five things. Number one, I'm doing my best. And that is literally all I can ever do. Even if I'm messing up, if I'm trying my best right now, then that's all you have to be a worthy and good person.
